Stately

This afternoon I met up with a friend for lunch and a stroll around the grounds of Kingston Lacy, admiring all the spring flowers in bloom - snowdrops and daffodils in abundance but also mini irises, camellias, hyacinths - we couldn't believe just how much was in bloom!

A gloriously sunny, if somewhat chilly, afternoon. My favourite view was as I was driving away and the sun was lowering in the sky during the oh, so lovely, golden hour before sunset. I glanced back and could see the long shadows stretching across the grass in front of the very stately Kingston Lacy and just had to pull over for a few more photos!
