The De La Warr Pavillion, the art deco jewel in Bexhill's crown. I don't much like it from the outside, but go inside and it's a whole new world. Above is the north window, the less favoured view away from the sea. Have a look at the extra pic for the famous staircase and sea view. There's an art gallery ( I don't always gerrit), a great café restaurant, and a large theatre now starting to show more and more top acts. When the weather is so miz, as it is again today, it's an excellent place to go even though the current art exhibition is a trifle esoteric for me - a load of tin cans on the floor......?
