Memories

This afternoon I was at a memorial for my friend's mother, who died recently. It is true, as her husband said, that births, deaths and weddings bring people together. We were there to celebrate a life fully and generously lived, of a woman who had a gift for friendship, a love for family and a talent for writing. It was good to hear people talking about their memories and how she had inspired their lives.
