King Charles

This book is a biography of the famous Charles Dickens written by his great grand daughter.  It was published for the bicentennary of Dickens' birth and the author came to Aylesbury Waterside theatre to talk about her famous relation. I went to listen; Lucinda was a very good speaker.
I personally enjoy the stories Dickens wrote but they're not fast paced.  He is a master craftsman and was clearly very intelligent. This blip is to publicise the Dickens' challenge put together by Hildasrose for February.  
Maybe I have a special affinity with CD as I was born on his birthday!!
