Snowy Stirling

We drove up to Stirling yesterday for an overnight in the Stirling Highland Hotel, which we learned used to be the old high school. We really enjoyed our dinner, then we were taken up to the old observatory to see the old reflector telescope. By this time, the wind was really howling again and it was cloudy and freezing, so unfortunately we were unable to look through the scope.
We awoke this morning to snow. We walked up to the castle to get views of the surrounding countryside. It really was bitter cold and the weather changed from blue sky and sun  to dark grey and snowy so quickly.
