A Day of Wildlife and Friendship

We had a wonderful day, taking our dear friends around our favourite haunts, one of which is Wells-Next-the-Sea.  Whilst standing on the shore line our friends spotted some seals swimming close to the shore in front of them and one seal hauled himself up onto the beach right next to where they were standing.  B and I were lagging behind sorting out our lenses when they called us over. The seal seemed very happy to pose for photos (see extra).  It was a very special moment!
As we walked into Wells for a spot of lunch, flocks of brent geese were passing over us all the time, and I managed to capture this image of one of them.  Brent's are one of my very favourite geese, they are so petite and pretty and I just love their gentle, chattering call.
A fabulous day and all the better for being shared with our dear friends.
