Somewhere Over Russia

Back-blip 5 of 5…..

An 04:15 alarm call. OMG. Taxi at 05:00 to Kimhae ahead of our domestic flight to Seoul's Incheon airport and then the Finnair long-haul to Helsinki. In fact 9 hours and 15 minutes precisely, as confirmed by the on-board monitor which I'd set to view the aircraft's forward facing camera while we taxied out to the runway, see extra.

Again I struggled to sleep so ended up watching three movies and capturing a few images over Mongolia and Russia along the way. The final three-hour flight got us back to Heathrow where our driver awaited to take us home to Bristol. I got home at 20:00, exactly 24 hours after the taxi pick-up but, bizarrely, due to the 9 hour time difference, it was all done on the same day!

Zzzz required big time.
