Pevensey Bay.

I left home very early this morning to go to Hailsham to complete some work. Once done, I noticed that it was only about 10 minutes away from the sea, so I went to Pevensey Bay to stop and eat a well deserved bun! It was on this bay, in 1066 that 700 Norman ships landed. Today it was a lot quieted, apart from the howling wind which made it difficult to stand. It was wonderful though to spend just a few minutes in complete awe of the immense power of the sea.
