Homework

Sunday is homework day. 
Sunday is depressing!!
Miss E had a party at a friend's house this afternoon so she spent the morning doing her project about the Goddess Hera. She drew a fabulous picture of her and then did a poster of facts. She found a good website with lots of facts to write. Luckily she chose to ignore the one that said "Her husband had many affairs which caused her to be extremely jealous. She was consequently highly vindictive towards his lovers and illegitimate children"
Also she thankfully chose to copy a drawing where Hera was actually fully clothed rather than some of the other - ever so slightly less appropriate - images that came up!!!
She enjoyed the party - donning a pair of roller skates as soon as she could and skating round the birthday girl's garden.
Then it was home for more fun and games with homework.
And when I say fun and games I do of course mean hideous shouting, tantrums and tears.
Sigh.
