I wonder why?

25mm of rain overnight with a gale developing. Good old Gertrude!
No damage anywhere, but there is a pond on the croft! And the ditches are flowing well. Waves are crashing onto the rocks, with spray blowing over N's park by the graveyard..

Don't think it will be much of a day for outside work. XC weather are forecasting 30 cm of snow overnight, Saturday and into Sunday.
