Making tracks..

A foul wet day today, but the night and tomorrow will be worse after Storm Gertrude..

Had some ballast and cement delivered today. The TP lorry reversed up this bit of road to our house to drop it off, but he dropped of the road a bit instead! He didn't get stuck, but churned the verge up a bit. It's actually done some good, highlighting the edge of the road, and creating a drainage ditch!

I did have to go out with the shovel and clear it up a bit - in driving rain..

Went down the hall for an hour and a half this afternoon, to meet a chap who came up to give a quote for some building work. Toilets need to be tidied up, disabled toilets have to be installed, and the whole place needs re-wiring..

Development company meeting in a while..

Those of you with good memories (Rich and Faye) will remember the join in the tarmac was the finishing line when my nephew cycled up from Gloucester last summer!
