Coniston Water

To Ulverston this morning for an acupuncture appointment.  Good.

From there I went north along Town Bank Road towards Coniston.  Stopped at Broughton Beck (see extras) and then Brown Howe.  From there north along the lake, Yew Tree Tarn, Skelwith with tea at Chesters (obviously!), Ambleside, Windermere and home.  

No 2 son facetimed in the evening and he is recovering from the shingles which is all good.  Not always a good patient.

Spoke to Dad too and ordered his shopping.  Few concerns about him - he doesn't seem to be eating very much which is a worry.  Good chat though and he even told me how well my 2 sons are doing.  Crikey.
