Windermere

I realised that I hadn't been out for a few days with the bad weather so took a drive up to Gummer's How.  It was so windy that I could hardly get the car door open and it didn't make me want to hang around about outside for too long.

From there drove down to Bowland Bridge, Crosthwaite and Bowness.  Lots of the fields were flooded and there was a lot of surface water on the road.

Spoke to Daughter in Law on the phone (she seemed surprised that I rang on the landline - sign of the times) and all seems well.  Baby doing well too. That's all good.  We are going south in a few weeks to see them.

Santana was out this evening so I loafed around and had control of the remote.
