Drain

This is the drain that just wouldn't empty.
This is is the plumber all puzzled and dirty.
This is the plunger and high pressure jet,
And this is the water that won't drain yet.
So there goes the plumber under the house,
In a crawl space just big enough for a mouse.
To struggle with ancient cast iron pipes
Cutting and banging with all of his might.
To emerge with a grin and proudly say
It's fixed now - look it's all drained away!
