Seam. Powlett River Entrance, Low Tide.

My original intention was to have a quick trip to the Powlett River and photograph a duck pond I had discovered a few weeks ago. Which I did...and then walked down the road a bit, noticed all these really nice cloud formations occurring, and walked some more. Before I knew it I was at the entrance on the surf beach. The whole place, come rain or shine, is so seductive.
I had come across this natural artefact some years ago. The area was originally settled after the discovering of coal and I am making an assumption, perhaps false, that the strange "seam" that is evident in the photograph is a coal seam. The whole thing is very straight and looks man-made. It is completely submerged at high tide.
Damn, it was a beautiful walk though. It was just me and the birds. I'll leave the duck pond for another day.
