Continuing the Alpha(Bet) males - The life in my men in my life - July challenge,

F is for Film. Pinewood Film Studios to be exact.

Today I attended Malc's 80th Birthday party - a lunch time barbeque on the terrace of the mansion house at Pinewood.

Malc is Sugar Daddy's younger brother! All the family, apart from Sugar Daddy, work in film and TV, and have been involved with numerous block busters including all the Bond Films, Star Wars, and Harry Potter.

Malc's wife is auntie to a very famous TV celeb with the surname of Cowell. The man himself, wasn't there but he had sent an 'Oscar' with the engraving 'To my favourite boss ever, lots of love, Simon.

We had a tour of the studios and the mansion which includes the long gallery. Reputed to be haunted, it is lined with stunning photos of all the films that have been made at Pinewood. Malc has been involved in the production of more than anyone else.

One of Malc's sons had made a film for him. This is the opening still, it then went on to a written history of his life in the Star Wars genre and set to the Title Theme, followed by stills of his life and then the most wonderful Q & A session with his 5 grandchildren. Brilliant!

At 80 Malc is still Fit - in every sense of the word.... But as his name doesn't start with F so I can't tell you any more...

F is for a Fab Day.
