Onion

I look at the photographs of other people on blip and it inspires me to try things out for myself.  I am a beginner when it comes to macro and the point of this close up of an onion was to start using my tripod more often.  I turned the central pole upside down so that the camera was suspended and then I used live view to focus.  I also intend to have another go at using a dark background rather than a white one.
