A real beauty

The weather was very kind to us today ....... it was dry, mild & we even saw a little sun now & again :-)

We went out for a walk in Westgate Woods this afternoon ...... it was lovely to get out for a walk without being frozen!

This lovely Blackbird posed beautifully for me ....... he was only a few feet away & not at all bothered ....... so he just had to have 'pride of place' :-)

We also watched a Kestrel hunting (the Extra) ...... it landed on a small tree to rest & I did manage to get a few shots ....... he was quite a long way off so I've had to crop the shot quite a bit :-)
