Crocuses

The crocuses are up, I saw blossoms on some trees, the sun was shining this morning, and I got a hint that spring is on it's way. Having said that, we probably will have a really cold spell just to remind us that winter is not yet over.

I met a friend for lunch today and we both had salads and water. I have decided that this week I need to eat healthily, which means I must stay off the chocolate...not sure how long that will last!

I was sad to hear about the British explorer who has died in his attempt to cross Antarctica unassisted and unsupported - with no supply drops or help from dogs or any other source.
