State of Emergency

lest we might forget
soldiers are back on the streets
emergency lasts

Hopefully not forever, but it is already announced that the period of three months that started at the end of october (after an initial two weeks) should be renewed come the end of the month.

I don't want this. I don't want to live in a country where police forces can make decisions without having to refer to the justice system to have their approval. Not longer than it absolutely needs to be this way, anyway.

I don't understand that so many people seem to agree with this. Oh, sure, they haven't felt they were losing anything of their freedom. But even giving the State the possibility of taking those liberties away should inflame them.
