Morning colours

This photo was taken from the end of the wee point of land where the side boundary meets the cliff edge on our property at Snells Beach. Looking southeast over Algies Bay shortly before sunrise.

Having taken the photo, I was heading back to the Beachhouse when I saw Tsuken, who was on his way to practice some kata as the sun was rising. He went off to the top of the Highfield Reserve, and I went inside to make coffee and have breakfast.

Mid afternoon, Tsuken and I went to the Southend of Snells Beach with the four children, and three boogie boards; Young L's had lost its protective cover yesterday. The tide was almost fully out> From the edge of the water, it was more than 300 m before the depth became more than mid calf on me. After a number of short lasting games, they (led by Mr H) devised a game the grandfather called the Boogie train. Mr H pulled his board with one of the others on it, and the other two also joined in, each one holding the legs of the child in front.

Fo over half an hour this game made them laugh in joy, and their grandfather did the same. I enjoyed the time without any need to take a photo, as my camera was safely on the rocks, out of harms way.

Lovely meal tonight cooked by Tsuken. And after putting this up I need to head for bed as I'm working tomorrow for a half day.
