New porch

This was started at the end of November and the progress has reminded me of an old Flanders and Swann song "Twas on a Monday morning the gasman came to call". It involved builders, gasmen, a plumber, an electrician, joiners, surveyor and probably more beside and a Christmas break. However, it was weather proofed before the recent cold snap and we could tell the difference in the hall.
The floor had to have some corners filled but now all that remains to be done is a white strip between it and the garage, the flooring put down and the hooks and shoe racks installed - probably tomorrow for most of those.
