Maspie Den

Today was the Devil's Burdens Relay in the Lomond Hills (the devil's burdens being a geological feature with myth has were the result of the devil throwing away his remaining burden of stones after defeating a witch by burying her with the rest).
It's a 4 leg race with legs 2 & 3 run in pairs. I was doing leg one, lower down but not flat, and later several of us headed up Maspie Den for the 3/4 leg changeover - though we missed the quicker teams. The glen has lots of paths and bridges (and a tunnel) and further up one path goes under a waterfall.
A great day, even if no prizes were won.
