Happy Birthday R

R & P have been away overnight and called in by on the way home today. I made cupcakes and scones to have with our coffee. The recipe for the buns was from this blipper
     
It is years since I last baked buns and these are scrummy. The scones, on my third attempt, are even better. I’m getting a bit slap happy with measuring the ingredients and it seems to work!!!
 
Whilst I worked in the kitchen (assisted by B who did the washing up) the girls lay in their bed supervising the operation!!
 
Last Saturday I had a project at my sewing group. It was this book bag for R as part of her birthday present.
