Pooh!

A trip out this afternoon to the local marina fun day - a wonderful raggle taggle of mini funfair, food fair, local interest groups and boating related stalls - all to the background of some roots blues music on the slide guitar.

The rain mainly kept off and I even caught a little sun. The boys got to wield some Viking swords, axes and shields, eat ice cream and fleece me for rides.

Eldest is in the fun house which amused the boys at least. Certainly a happier face than the one he had on for the walk back home - you'd have thought he'd walked a marathon and not a couple of miles! I really should expect the drama queen histrionics though.
