Hogmany in the park

Heather and Kirk secured a prime spot for our late night picnic. When we arrived at 22.00hrs,  we just put our blanket down when the sprinkler system fired up and we had to move smartish.
The next 2 hours we ate, drank and were merry.
The first New year of 2016 with fireworks, Auld Lang syne and a Strip the willow or two. Kirk's pal the Aussie and friend couldn't believe what we were up to but loved it.
It was only when we were taking our clinking rubbish to the recycling bins that we saw the notice, No drinking alcohol in the park! Oops.
