ancient oak

...to a pub yet again!  This time it's one of my favourite pubs - the Royal Oak in the village of Meavy.  The pub is one of just a handful in England that is owned by the parish council. Apart from the pub, the village has a primary school, a village green and on the green just outside the pub an oak tree reputed to be over 800 years old!  And that is my photo for today...
