Herman Day Care

An easy to manage good deed today - popping up to R&L's house to entertain new puppy Herman - today was the first 'long' day he'd been left on his own - he was so pleased to see me that he wee'd everywhere - bless.
We had a good long game of ball in the garden & there was lots of running around with Pushka - he was asleep in his bed when I left.

& so to Philosophy Friday
I started my journal 2+ years ago by expounding my theory that there are always moments of wonder & beauty to be found in the world. Blip has helped me focus on that more & more - I'm certainly more attuned to them than I was. I think the secret of a happy life isn't to try and cram these moments in, not even to go looking for them - but to simply be truly aware they are there - and then they'll find you.
A bit like today's extra - it was a truly grim day weather-wise today - but stepping out at last light the sky temporarily cleared & the woods were full of colour with the arboreal equivalent of Alpenglow. A minute later & it was gone.
