Woodbridge

I was told that Woodbridge is famous for its Tidal Mill. We duly found it today. The River Deben has powered a corn mill on this site since 1170.  Unfortunately it is closed from November to March.

It is otherwise a most pleasant town, with a number of elderly boats moored in a crowded harbour. The town centre has some fine buildings, showing the affluence of the area over the centuries.

Owing to the continued lack of internet at our base, I have had to resort to a local establishment to upload this and other photographs. A First World problem, if ever there was one.
