A productive morning meeting in Glasgow followed by a stroll, searching for a blip. These friendly folks at a 'bespoke barber' came to the rescue.

I then joined strongchest and his sons to see Canadian astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield speak at the Usher Hall to a packed house. I can't tell you how inspiring he was, how poetic and simply wonderful. I hope the talk was recorded because I could happily watch it again.

When we got back I started reading his book 'An astronaut's guide to life on Earth' - he's an engineer, a fighter pilot, a test pilot, an astronaut, a musician and a very good writer.
