Lummi Carver

My friend Wendy asked me to take some photos at the studio of Felix Solomon, a Lummi-Haida  artist who carves in the traditional Coast Salish style. He is currently working on a large project which will be displayed in the Bellingham airport terminal. 

This blip photo shows just one piece of the work. You can also see it in the first extra photo. The finished project will be similar to the small model shown in the second extra photo, which was taken on January 27, 2010 when one of my first blips was about Felix and his work.
