Ski Team

Day 5 of our Cardrona trip with the special addition of Robyn who came down and joined us for our 3rd(?) annual Wanaka ski trip. It's nearly the only time we meet up with (aunt) Robyn and it's always a great time. Kids are spoiled rotten, subjected to language they don't otherwise hear, and have an overall fantastic time ;-)

Yet another bluebird day on the mountain, 5/5 for us! A few runs, coffee for some, a few more runs, lunch at the Noodle Bar, and few more runs, then down the hill and into the spa for several aperitifs, before heading out to dinner.

As usual, a simply fantastic week. Fabulous place to be great weather, excellent company, and some fab skiing. That's a holiday, and awesome as usual for us all to reconnect with Robyn, the kids love the time, Well, we all do!

Been an interesting trip, Hannah apparently "hates skiing", but skis like a trooper. She's fast, power wedges down anything (literally); moguls, advanced black runs, you name it, and smiles at the drop of a hat. But then wants to go home, constantly. Funny girl.

Adam on the other hand, is hard to get out of the house, but once on the hill doesn't want to stop; for lunch or for the lifts closing at 4pm. He's mad keen and its great to see.

Anyway, out to dinner to the Luggate pub, we'd all ha d a big day and couldn't eat all our delicious meals, so home relatively early and to bed. Tired and good.
