Almost missed it!!

A busy busy day today......Emily was up at 6am, not a time we normally see these days!!!
She also has a habit of waking up during the night, and sure enough in she came at 2.10am teddy under her arm............"Grandma" she mumbled. I got up, turned her around and guided her back to bed, she was barely awake ;-)

After we'd all got up and had breakfast, we dropped Emily off at school for 8.45, it was really chilly too! Then we went home, dropped the car off and walked down into town for the exercise, and a couple of things we needed.
We were back home for 10am, unheard of!!! ;-)

After a cuppa, I got my things together, and drove over to see Mum, and sis again. I waited with mum, as she wanted to pay her respects to one of her neighbours who had sadly passed away, as his funeral was leaving the drive at noon. Once we had done that we went off to meet up,with sis for some lunch. As it was so cold, we treated ourselves to an egg and bacon barm.....lovely it was too :-)

Then we all did some shopping I. The market, then M&S, then Sainsburys and eventually back to Mums for 4.15...... Mum doesn't do so bad really considering she's not too good on her feet ;-) It was as we were getting out of the car, that I spotted this sunset! By the time I'd unloaded the car, and grabbed my camera, I almost missed it, as you can see, glad I didn't! It is the only shot I've taken today, so it had to be my blip!

We've had the last of the cottage pie for tea tonight, mum really enjoyed it, and she treated herself to a custard donut for afters too.....well of course I had to have one too !!! :-)

I'm just uploading this before driving back home. I'll leave mum watching the ITV Awards :-)
