Home Way from Home....

This is a view of the "bedroom" end of the large old-fashioned caravan we are staying in. We have rented this caravan from friends for many years now. Three people can sleep in the living room part and there is an enormous full-length canvas awning as well. Margaret is sleeping on a nice stretcher bed out there and Emily is inside the caravan with me. I have the luxury of the double bed.
Rachel had to return to Blenheim today for some urgent business. However she is planning to come back here tomorrow. Margaret, Emily and I visited Breaker Bay today. We took our lunch and spent a few hours there. Alex and Hannah biked over from Marahau at lunchtime for a quick swim. They swam with Emily who is like a fish in the water. The three of them swam around to Honeymoon Bay and back. They are all very good swimmers.
More family arrive tomorrow so it is full on still. Luckily the weather is lovely at present. We hope it continues.....
