Winter Walks

The sun which had been promised for the afternoon failed to transpire.  Regardless, we donned warm coats, hats and gloves and set off to the top of the hill.  The first section of track was an icy nightmare.  Further up the layer of snow was still soft and a pleasure to walk on.  Best of all?  There was no wind!

We got home just before dark and were glad to warm up and relax
