Great company and a lovely day

Today one of my friends from the women's photography club invited us all to a birthday lunch. We feasted on a delicious Mexican soup (with fresh coriander, oh, how I love this herb!) and warm bread. Coffee and chocolate for dessert - so very yummy. This group of women are all such great company, always with a positive attitude and ready to laugh and play :)
Like Benjamin Franklin said: "We do not stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing!"

I spent the afternoon on the scaffolding (thank you for providing the right word ArcLight!) with my husband, scraping and painting the windowpanes and we'll continue until midnight, at least.

House-painting is easy in Iceland right now; lots of light at all hours, warm weather and no rain!
