My handymen

Our house was built in 1906 and has seen a lot through the decades (this photo was taken in 1907, our house is the fourth from the right). It's badly in need of repair and too bad we don't have the money to do it all right now...and maybe never. House repair costs a lot of money. But at least we can paint a little bit and that's what my husband started doing today.
To make the job easier he got himself this ladder-thingie (what do you call it in English?) and Kári helped putting it together.

Now they're outside scraping and cleaning and priming and painting - I'm so proud of them! :)

And I'm off to do the dishes after dinner. My job is easy for now, but I'll go out and paint too ;)
