Turkeys

The best time to go for a walk is between 7 and 9 AM on a Sunday morning  when there is less than the usual amount of traffic going up and down the back roads. This AM found 10 deer crossing the road and a dozen turkeys. This guy was displaying  until a car went down the hill. They all strutted off into the woods and he dropped his feathers back to normal by the time I was close enough to get off some decent shots. The extra is an "I should have cropped this" shot from down the road of the display behavior.
