Nuthatch

It was a lovely sunny (but cold!) morning so I decided to spend a couple of hours at Gosforth Park Nature Reserve, having joined the Natural History Society (which allows access to the reserve) last July.

Fellow photographers whom I met there had much bigger lenses than mine, but size isn't everything(!) and I managed to get a few reasonably decent shots. My Editor and I like this one of a nuthatch best.

Please view large for best effect.

Please don't forget to pledge for the future of blip, if you haven't already done so. The total is steadily climbing but there's still quite a long way to go :)
