A sun dog and a snow dog

The weather forecast said snow all afternoon, so I thought I'd get out early. I took Jess up the hill behind our house for the first time, keeping her on the lead whenever we encountered sheep. At the top of the hill, the snow came almost to the top of her legs. D took her out for another couple of hours later on and then I took her with me to post a letter (really an excuse to get out in the falling snow since there is no post until Monday).

Was she tired? Not a bit!
