First frost

First things first, thanks so much for all the lovely comments recently, especially on yesterday's golden glow :-)

Finally we woke up to a proper thick white frost.......bright and cold, but a bit cloudy.
We were up and out before 10, it was still crisp underfoot, not too slippery thankfully.

I took a handful of shots on the walk down to town as I wanted to post earlier today as I have a few things to do this afternoon. I thought it was about time frost featured in my journal and as it's the first one of this winter, here it is, unbelievable really!

Called into the butchers for some steak mince, cottage pie tomorrow, at hubs request. I like to make it the day before, it always tastes better the next day.

Sea Bass and pea risotto for tonight..... something a little lighter as we are off out with our neighbours. D's golf club are holding a quiz night so we thought we might as well give it a go :-)
