Fields of gold

First things first.......we were pants at the quiz last night, not even fourth!!!!! Neh mind, we had fun :-)

A lovely bright cold crisp morning, so our plan to walk up to Rivington was a goer :-) We wrapped up warm, walking shoes on, camera over my shoulder, hi ho, hi ho, it's off walking we go:-)

Lots of people out and about making the most of the weather.........we had a good couple of hours then noticed the dark clouds were starting to gather behind us, so decided it was time to go back down and get some lunch.
We had hot gammon and piccalilli on a seeded bap, a pot of tea, it was delicious :-)

I took lots of landscape shots, but settled on this one, as it gives a flavour of the light, the looming sky and the scenery.

The rain started again within 5 minutes of us getting home, how lucky were we ;-)

Nice to see the total pledged is on the move again today.......keep it going, follow someone new too :-)
