It is Friday

Last night at Burgundy's it was the Quincy Street Quintet but it was actually a quartet at the beginning.  The excuse was that Glen Clifford-Perkins here on the right with his trombone was delayed as he was in a meeting - that is the most incredulous excuse ever for a jazz man!
On the left is Paul Palmer, an awesome sax player.  He never knows what tune is coming next  - to be announced by Peter on keyboard.  And then it comes - a tune and then a key and he is away on his sax.  In a charity shop last week I did pick up an interesting CD - see the extra photo - Paul Palmer, 10 years ago on his first CD.  So good that this music gets recycled!
