2016 Tuesday -- Angry Sea

My winter break from teaching has been good. I report back to the classroom on Tuesday, February 16th, so I still have plenty of time to relax, to play, and to prepare.

It is not the last day of autumn, but the wind is high. Three blocks from our place the ocean is kissing the bluffs during this morning's high tide. Music is setting a magical mood. This winter is a wonderland!

The re-do of our little Cayucos casa is about to conclude. The itty bitty piece of a driveway we have is being poured or laid -- it's asphalt so not sure which term to use. Thursday the kitchen appliances arrive and Friday the new carpet will be installed. The tile floors have been laid.

We're anxious to move back into the upstairs living quarters. The little private downstairs guest room with shower has been convenient, but it is small, especially with the two crates for the three Funville pups (good grief). The end of next week will bring the Finish Line.
