Meet Michael!

Slept like logs again last night :-)

Today we had to drive into Manchester to meet up with former work colleagues, for our post Christmas retired pensioners lunch.

We have used the same wine bar for the last four years, as the private room they have is easily accessible (not too many steps and loos on the same floor ;-) important for those less mobile in their latter years!!!

This is Michael, our one and only waiter. He works his socks off looking after all 33 of us, with pre drinks, a served two course meal, plus tea/coffee. He is so obliging, friendly and cheerful, well done Michael :-)

I decided his strong face would be good for my blip today and tried several times to snap him whilst "at work" but he was buzzing about so much, that all of them were blurred!
Finally, I had to ask him to pose for me ;-)

One of ladies who came along today was part of the team I used to manage years ago, she is now 78.......it was nice to see her looking so well.

We are now back home, it's started to pour down agai, when is it going to stop ?!!!!!
