International Eucharistic Congress Dublin 2012

This is a shot of some of the 70,000 plus crowd who attended the closing ceremony of the IEC2012 in Croke Park in Dublin today....
It was a wonderful occassion and a spectacular event ending off a very successful week.....
My friend invited me to join her in a private box high up over the Hogan Stand and we had a wonderful view of all the proceedings...
The Congress was last held in Dublin in 80 years ago in 1932 and there were 170 veterans there on the day who had attended the closing ceremony in 1932...
It was held in our National football stadium, which in recent years has been given a complete renovation...it was my first time to see it and boy does it look fantastic...
A very enjoyable day and experience.......
