One Day I'll Fly Away.....

Dear Blip Buddies. 

Recently, that is, since I have been back at work, I have been uber busy and haven't been commenting as much as normal.  I have just been so, so, so, busy. 

This is year end.... and you know what that means, stock counts, reconciliations, consolidations, adding up, taking away, hitting your head off a desk, redoing all of the above, at least six times. 

This is my desk.  I took time to tidy it up today, because today, I finalised the numbers.  Yesterday morning, I was feeling frantic, now, I could do with a good nap.  Heavens, I even phoned the doctors and asked for an appointment for my smear test. 

I've shredded two box fulls of paper, half filled an archive box, and this pile is still on my desk; and annoying people who kept phoning me yesterday wondered why I couldn't answer their queries??? It was because I couldn't find my keyboard. 

So now, I'm going to chill for a day or two, and then I'll endeavour a catch up.     

I will let you know, that on the relaxation front, the knitting is coming on a treat.  My latest creation, after the chicken/fox/ kangaroo/ clanger and mole / duck billed platypus is an Owl, and apart from the colour (my husband is soooo picky), it actually looks like an owl, and there are far few noticable holes in this one, and so far, (touch wood, nothing as unpicked itself.
