Imposing

I have wondered for some time what this building used to be. When I moved to the town it was Habitat and for some years it has been the Cotswold Outdoors store.  There is usually a busy cafe outside around the columns and on the pavement but it was much too wet today for outdoor cafes and I found an indoors cafe for a quick lunch before my genealogy class. 
I find this imposing building was built in 1847 as a Congregational Church . That was a surprise, it looks more like a Town Hall.
