Ightham Mote

This afternoon we undertook the long estate walk ( 2.5m) around Ightham Mote planning to end up in the tea room. I foolishly allowed Mr P to tag on the medium estate walk of 1.2 miles and when we got back the tea room was closed.  The photo is taken on a very steep path that must have been there for a long time given the size of the trees. The only good thing is that I have now done 10,500 paces and without the tagged on bit, I would be short.   More paces and less cake means more chance of losing those extra Xmas pounds.
