plastic gig

This is a model of the Bantry Bay gig being made of plastic two-litre milk cartons in Bantry harbour, as part of the preparations for the Atlantic Challenge, to be hosted by Bantry later this month.
Presumably its some kind of statement about waste and plastic and so on.

It was a steamy warm day. Friends came for coffee this morning and we went over to Bantry Fair this afternoon. The boy got a lavender pekin rooster to go with his hen and named him Lester.
